Decatur Central’s Second Annual Community Garden Opening

That's right, Decatur Central has a community garden! The gardens are located off of high school road right beside the DTSE.  Starting May 13, plots may be purchased for $10 each. Garden plot size can be seen in the photo below.  Flowers or vegetables may be planted. Having a community garden is a great way to connect with other community members and spend quality time with your family.  Mother's Day is around the corner and it is thought that gardens should be planted around that time so take advantage of this great offer!  Plant your items and the MESI class at Decatur Central High School will take care of watering for you over the summer - just come check on your little area of earth and reap the bounty!   In addition, the MESi class has several plants for sale ($2 each)- tomatoes, sweet peppers, and sunflowers.
