The Innovation and Design Hub of Decatur Township is a modernized business space for students to design, create, and innovate new ideas and concepts. Students have an opportunity to work in a flexible seating environment and work in the Makerspace, brainstorm in our Fireside chat area, create a Podcast or Vodcast in our Audio/Video production lab, and learn a variety of coding languages on our MacBooks. Students can also use our 3D printers, Promethean boards, or framery booths to help in completing projects. This is a workspace for students to work on and complete projects as well as space for students to be creative and pursue their passions. Students may visit the Innovation Hub through a class they are in, by joining an after school club, or by visiting during the school day if they are on a half day schedule. The Innovation and Design Hub is located on the third floor of the Decatur Township School for Excellence. Students must present a student ID and should sign-up online prior to attending.
