Homecoming Festivities 2018
Homecoming is right around the corner and the week will be full of fun activites for staff, students, and community.  We love supporting our school community and appreciate everyone who comes out to participate in our great school traditions. Take a look at all of the Homecoming activies for the week of September 10 - 14!
 
Spirit Days:
Monday- PJ Day
Tuesday- Twin Day
Wed. Class Color Day 9-blue 10-red 11- purple 12- Black
Thursday- 90's Day
Friday- Blue & Gold Day (Don't forget to buy a Homecoming shirt $12)
 
Friendly CCR Competitions:
 
1. Door Decorating Competition- This year's theme for Homecoming is Forever A Hawk (Blue& Gold)! Students will have until next Thursday morning to have CCR classroom doors completed for judging. The directors will be around Thursday morning to judge all of the doors! What does the winning CCR class win.......... ?
Free tickets to the Football Game on Friday night against Mooresville & doughnuts on Friday during CCR!!!!
 
2. Collection of Candy- We will be collecting bags of candy for Safe Halloween during CCR! Candy will be collected 4th period on Friday the 14th!
Winning CCR class wins: Longs donuts in CCR 
 
3. Please do not forget about the can food drive as well that is going on in CCR next week as well!
 
Pep Session:
We will have a pep session on Friday the 14th! Please be advised we will be on pep session schedule.
 
Homecoming Parade:
The parade is open to any CCR, group, group activity, sports team, anyone who would like to come out and show their Hawks Spirit! The parade will start at the Blue/Gold Building. Line up will begin at 4:30 with a start time of 5:00. The parade will end at DCHS.
 
Homecoming Shirts:
Tshirts will go on sale next week for $12 in Mrs. Tate's Room! (300)
 
Powder Puff Game:
The game will be on Wed. the 12th on the Football field at 6:00. Cost of admission is $2.00. Donate a bag of candy for Safe Halloween at the gate and pay only $1! The 9th and 10th graders will combine with the the 11th graders to take on the Seniors! This is always a fun night to come out and watch our students compete. We would love to see you there :)
 
Class Competition: (Spirit Points)
Students and teachers need to check in at the Commons before school to earn their class a Class Spirit Point. The Class with the most participation will win the Spirit Trophy and will be announced at the Pep Session.
 
Homecoming Court (Voting)
Voting will take place in CCR on Naviance. Everyone will vote on Wednesday( underclass the girl and boy with the most nominations will win!) The Seniors will then Vote again in CCR on Naviance on Thursday. The winner for the Senior class will be announced on Friday at half-time of the football game!
 
Football Game:
The football game is Friday the 14th against Mooresville!. The game starts at 7:00. Gates open at 6. Come out and cheer on the team to a victory!
