Seventh-Eighth Grades

1. Language Arts: The curriculum includes word work, vocabulary, comprehension, fluency, and writing.

   2. Indiana Academic Standards for Language Arts: 7th grade / 8th grade
   3. Targeted literacy support is provided in the middle school (grades 7-8) through the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). Students who need additional help receive Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions using research-based instructional materials designed to strengthen reading skills and promote academic growth.

1. Mathematics: Our math program helps students truly understand what they are learning—not just memorize steps. We focus on building strong foundational skills while also encouraging students to apply their math knowledge in real-life situations. This approach prepares them to tackle more challenging concepts with confidence as they grow.

2. Science: The curriculum is inquiry-based instruction with hands-on learning opportunities through STEAM Class (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics)

   5. Students who qualify enroll in High School Biology in 8th grade.
