School Board Recognitions, November 8, 2022

At the School Board Meeting on November 8, 2022, the Decatur Middle School 8th Grade Girls Volleyball Team was recognized by Dr. Prusiecki for their outstanding season.  Coached by Tandace Joseph and Rikki Noland, the team won the Hauser Jr. High Invitational and Mid-State Conference Championship.  They are the first volleyball Mid-State Champs in school history! Congratulations to the athletes and coaches on a very successful season! #DecaturProud



Also, the Decatur Township School Police are #DecaturProud to have Officer Jacob Eidson join their ranks.  Sworn into service by Chief Smith at the School Board Meeting, Officer Eidson brings experience as a School Resource Officer at IPS and IUPUI, along with military experience.  Welcome to the Decatur family, Officer Eidson!
