Hello Valley Mills family and friends!

I am Decatur proud and humbled to begin another year with the great educators, students and families of Valley Mills Elementary school as our principal. Here at Valley Mills we believe in encouraging our students to "SRRF" throughout their years in our school. "SRRF" stands for Safety, Respect, Responsibility and Focus which are the 4 pillars to our instructional and environmental success.

As we grow together I welcome you to get to know your student's teachers and seek ways to assist in your child's learning. As our leader I will work each and every day to develop TRUST, RESPECT and FUN with our students, staff and stakeholders, to create a climate that all will want to be a part of. Each morning I will charge your students to "Go LEARN Something" as a reminder of why we are all here!

It is going to be a GREAT year here at Valley Mills!
