DCHS Engineering Design and Development Takes 1st and 3rd at EV Grand Prix

On May 18, Decatur Central High School's Engineering Design and Development participated in the MSTEM 500 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. They shared their Go Kart designs with over 850 students from area middle schools and high schools.

The event culminated in the EV Grand Prix. A 15 lap event in which Decatur Central won first and third place. We are #DecaturProud of our drivers, Nick Knotts and Sedrik Sweet. We are also #DecaturProud of the entire racing team: Austin Fletcher, Jonathan Bradway, Brandon Lewis, Aaron Crowder, Jacob Kelley, Sebastian Gonzalez and Kyle Gross. Go Hawks!
