Brandy Wilson – Director of Transportation Workforce Management & Special Services
Brandy Wilson has served the MSD of Decatur Township Transportation Department for more than 21 years, beginning her career as a bus driver before advancing into roles as a trainer, routing coordinator, and assistant director. She brings extensive experience in personnel management, special services coordination, employee onboarding, and training program oversight. In her new role, Wilson will lead workforce management initiatives and special transportation services while continuing to support staff development and student success.

Gabriel Morrison – Director of Transportation Logistics & Compliance
A familiar face returning to MSD of Decatur Township, Gabriel Morrison has worked in student transportation and education since 2015. He brings strong experience in school bus operations, route management, fiscal monitoring, and state and federal compliance auditing. In his new role, Morrison will oversee transportation logistics, regulatory compliance, and operational planning to support safe and efficient service for students and families.

Mrs. Wilson and Mr. Morrison will oversee a team of more than 55 drivers, 20 bus monitors, dispatchers, specialists, shop personnel and more. The creation of two Transportation Director positions is not an addition of administrative staff; rather, these roles replace the department’s previous Director and Assistant Director structure, with responsibilities divided to provide more focused leadership and operational support.

“With the combined experience and dedication, Mrs. Wilson and Mr. Morrison are well-positioned to lead the transportation department and make positive changes that benefit the entire Decatur Township community,” said Director of Operations Justin Dixson. “Our team is charged with safely delivering over 5,000 students each day to and from their schools and activities. Gabriel and Brandy will continue to elevate our transportation department with an unmatched energy and dedication to the job.”

“Over the past 21 years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve this department in many different roles, and that experience has given me a deep appreciation for the people who make this work possible every day. Our transportation team is dedicated to serving students and families, and I’m honored to continue supporting that mission. I’m excited for what lies ahead as we work together to strengthen our team and provide the best possible service to our community.” - Brandy Wilson

“Returning to Decatur Township is a special opportunity because this is a community that values both students and the people who serve them. I look forward to working alongside our transportation team to strengthen operations, support compliance and safety efforts, and build on the strong foundation already in place. I’m excited to work with our team to continue finding new ways to serve students, families, and staff.” - Gabriel Morrison

While many school districts contract their bus services, the MSD of Decatur Township owns, repairs, and operates more than 65 school buses. Drivers cover over 50 routes, driving over 250 individual bus runs each day. Altogether, our buses travel more than 1,000,000 miles annually and have an exemplary safety record.
