MSD of Decatur Township Announces New Chief Financial Officer

The MSD of Decatur Township welcomes Greg Foster, C.P.A. as Chief Financial Officer, effective May 18, 2026.

The MSD of Decatur Township School Board of Education approved the appointment of Mr. Greg Foster, C.P.A., as the district’s new Chief Financial Officer during its meeting on May 18, 2026. Foster will join the Decatur Proud team in May 2026 for the upcoming school year. He brings more than eight years of experience in school finance, most recently serving in financial leadership roles with MSD of Pike Township and Brownsburg Community School Corporation, where he supported responsible fiscal management and strategic planning for public education. Foster will succeed Kirk Farmer, who recently announced his resignation after 15 years of dedicated service to the district.

Foster holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a concentration in Accounting from Indiana University- Bloomington and maintains an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. “I am incredibly honored to join a district that is so deeply student invested and community connected with an environment where every family can thrive,” Foster said. Foster has been married to his wife, Suzie, for more than twenty-six years, and they have two daughters, Ainsley and Georgia, who both attend Indiana University- Bloomington. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and the outdoors. He is also a member of Plainfield Christian Church.
