2025 DC Homecoming Parade

Here are some details for the Homecoming Parade:

When: Friday, September 26th; Line up at 4:15 p.m. Parade begins at 4:45 p.m.
Where: Decatur Middle School Bus Parking Lot
Who: Any Decatur Proud Fan, Alumni, Youth Sports Team, School Athletic Team, School Club, or Hawk Nation Individual or Group that would like to enter a car, truck, float, bike, etc. is invited to participate. Sign up here: Homecoming Parade Entry Form
Route: DMS Bus Parking Lot to High School Rd., High School Rd. to Thompson Rd., Thompson Rd. to Tincher, Tincher to Furnas Rd, Furnas Rd. to Wheatstone, Wheatstone to Decatur Commons, Decatur Commons to High School Rd., Parade will end at DMS bus lot after it passes DCHS Door 29/Staff Event.
Rules: All entries must be safe and appropriate for the parade route. High School Administration reserves the right to disqualify any entries that are deemed unsafe and/or inappropriate. No walkers are permitted in the parade. Candy may be thrown from entrants to parade viewers.
