Decatur Township Families,

After the completion of spring break, March 30th-May 1st has been declared by the governor as physically “closed days” of school.  Therefore, we will continue our practice of eLearning with a mixture of waiver days. Waiver days are days granted by the Governor (State of Indiana) as a day of no instruction.  Please refer to the district and school websites for the calendar schedule for eLearning and Waiver Days.

Our school buildings’ offices will be open for phone calls on all eLearning Days, beginning April 1st.  If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact your child’s school on those respective days.  eLearning will take place on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (except for March 30th). Our buildings will be closed on every Tuesday and Thursday.

Food distribution for a five day lunch & Breakfast packet at any of the times below for every week will take place on Mondays:

                                                        3/30, 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27

  • All schools except DTSE & Decatur Middle School, from 11am-12pm
  • DCHS & Blue/Gold from 4pm-5pm
  • Valleybrook Clubhouse - 10:50am-11:20am
  • Windsong Clubhouse - 11:30am-12:00pm
  • Lynhurst Park Clubhouse - 12:10pm-12:40pm
  • Troy Manor Clubhouse - 12:50pm-1:20pm

You can go to any site for food pick up regardless where your children go to school!

As we are in these unprecedented times, it is imperative that our school community remains focused on supporting our children as we partner together to ensure learning.  Thank you for your support and willingness to strive to be Decatur Proud!

Sincerely,

Dr. Prusiecki

Superintendent
