Dear Decatur Township Families,
This is Dr. Prusiecki, Superintendent of Decatur Township Schools, I wanted to reach out and share a few important items with you.
Due to the high demand this morning for food distribution, we are not equipped for evening distribution at our designated locations, Decatur Central High School or at Blue/Gold Elementaries.
Our next distribution of food will be Monday, March 30th as already scheduled. Our locations are the same as scheduled on our district and school websites.
We will continue to have eLearning after spring break, starting April 1st. Please refer to the district and school websites for the eLearning calendar.
Separate communication regarding Kindergarten will be sent out by Principal Mrs. Bryant with information pertaining to packet pickup times.
Our school buildings will be closed to the public and for most of our employees except for our police and administration until April 10th.
I will continue to push out information moving forward over the next several days and weeks as our situation may change.
I encourage all of our community to stay home and maintain social distancing as much as possible. As our Governor has limited access in our community, I want to reassure you that we will continue to support our school community through our eLearning process while pushing out prepared food as much as we can. Thank you for your patience as we work together to manage through this difficult time. Stronger together, we will persevere and overcome this obstacle.
As always, Together we are Decatur Proud!
