Message from Director

Welcome to Choice Academy! Here at Choice Academy, we focus upon social, global, and environmental responsibility using a service learning model. In a rapidly changing world it is important to help students learn how to positively and responsibly interact with the world around them. Through our service learning model our students can follow their passions and take their learning beyond the classroom walls. 

I am #DecaturPROUD to be the director of Choice Academy. This fall will mark my 19th year in education. My passion and drive in education has always been helping to empower students to become responsible, positive, and productive members of the communities in which they live. We at Choice believe that it is our mission to help our students do just that, to become leaders who can think critically, act responsibly, lead effectively, and live humanely. Choice students strive to be better today than yesterday, and better tomorrow than they are today.

I know that with the support of our families and the community, the students of Choice will become Tomorrow Ready. I look forward to the opportunities this new school year will bring. Together, We are #DecaturPROUD!
