Entrepreneurship Project

New Tech VOICE Student Leadership representatives Yanelie Jimenez, Tyler Whitaker, Vanessa Mendez, Brayden Hazelwood, and Faith Brooks won first place in the first annual University of Indianapolis Entrepreneurship Academy ImaginAction Competition. These students came up with a completely original use for plastic bags. These students developed a product that not only recycles plastic bags but also works to empower homeless women to have more dignity and independence. VOICE reps presented their project in front of a panel of distinguished professors from UIndy and in the end came out on top of the other 3 schools that made it to the finals in the competition.
